BUDIŠOV Open

The course in Budišov nad Budišovkou was built in 2015 and has been one of the favourite destinations for Czech disc golfers since its early days. Tournaments were initially organized by the community, but over time the responsibility was taken over by the home club, Flying Dragons, which helped the course and its events grow into a respected fixture on the Czech disc golf scene. The slate-rich region has hosted Czech Disc Golf Tour and Amateur Disc Golf League events as well as the Czech Match Play Championship in 2019. This spring, the course will undergo reconstruction, and in September the locals are preparing for a major highlight – the Czech National Championships.

The course itself offers a diverse mix of technical and bomber challenges. Narrow fairways and touch-dependent holes alternate with sections where you can fully test your driving power. A memorable feature is the water hole played from the dam of the local pond, adding a welcome dose of adrenaline.
