Moravian Open

The Moravian Open is one of the most significant disc golf tournaments in the Czech Republic, held annually at the picturesque course on Svinec Hill near Nový Jičín by the local Moravian Gators club. Since its first edition in 2013, the tournament has become a prominent Czech event, gaining a reputation for excellent organization and a challenging course. Typically held in autumn, the event attracts not only players but also spectators who get to experience disc golf at its finest—weather permitting. Over the past 11 years, conditions have ranged from perfect sunny days to foggy challenges.

Throughout its history, Svinec Hill has hosted prestigious events such as the Central European Championships (2019), the Czech National Championships (2014, 2018), and the finals of the 1st disc golf league, now known as the Czech Disc Golf Tour. Last year, the Moravian Open was featured on the proDiscgolf.net Central Tour for the first time, and this year will be no different. You can look forward to the iconic holes, stunning views, and the unique tournament atmosphere that marks the perfect conclusion to the main disc golf season!
